Who is General Assembly?
Established in early 2011, General Assembly is a global educational institution that is building a community of individuals empowered to pursue work they love, through instruction and opportunity in technology, business and design. They offer classes, workshops, full-time immersive programs and online educational programming on the most relevant skills of the 21st century economy, including web development, user experience design, digital marketing and data science.
The Work
The commission by General Assembly’s London based offices which are located at two sites; one by Clerkenwell and another just off Brick Lane required capturing the headshots of both staff and graduates for use on their portfolio website. These were taken at their main campus on Hanbury St which made for a fantastic setting in which a spare classroom became an impromptu photo studio for the day.
